Halloween Mail Art

The girl I stitched for received her envelope yesterday so Now I can post what I stitched.Our next exchange is going to be Snowmen and the last day to mail will be March 1,2011 and mailing anytime after the New Year.So if anyone wants to give it a try come on over.The only thing I ask is do not join up if you have no plans of following through.It seems like a lot of that has been going on lately..And its not fair to the person that does stitch her piece and sends it off to receive nothing in return...All the girls in our group are serious when they make a commitment to stitch an envelope.We have only had one bad apple and she is no longer in our group..

Halloween Mail Art 2010

I received my Halloween Mail Art today from my friend Tracy.It has made my day special..The temperatures here have been cool.We turned our furnace on this morning just to take the dampness out..Friday I carried all my outside plants etc. in for the winter..I enjoy carrying everything out more than I do carrying it all in.Winter is my least favorite time of the year..Our next exchange is going to be snowmen..I LOVE mail art..

Here are pictures from our latest mail art exchange.It was a Prairie Schooler Theme..The envelopes on down were A Sun,Moon and Stars Theme..Our next exchange is going to be Halloween.I am going to give out names on Saturday July 10.The mailing date will be Oct 8 2010..So there will be plenty of time to stitch an envelope without being rushed.If anyone would like to join come on over and I will accept you.Getting an envelope in the mail that has been stitched just for you is a lot of fun..

sick of snow here

I needed to change the picture at the top but couldn't post one of all the snow we have..it's just to depressing to me..14 inches this weekend.Looking out my window of snow covered everything is getting to be more than I can take.This has went on for to long now..enough is enough..

I have mail art I need to post and just can't seem to get with it..to much time stuck inside makes Connie a very dull and unhappy girl..Hope everyone else is coping well with the winter weather..
